Abstract
We characterize task-relative validation resources for frozen quantum readers. Terminal-error observations admit intersection–union and sequential likelihood gates with nearly matching expected-stock information bounds. In a common trusted shared-visibility family, readable trajectories strictly improve those resources: a frozen fourteen-copy reader can be validated with false-certificate probability 2 and nominal acceptance probability at least
95 using at most 720160 source copies, whereas every terminal-error-only validator under the same physical-family promise needs more than 1992371 in expectation. At the exact nominal device, an uncapped trajectory gate accepts almost surely with expected stock below 254746; a quantified conditional response tube retains a similar expected separation. We also prove an unrestricted transcript obstruction and construct an exact trusted-seed information-projection test. The family, preparation and deployment-stability promises remain assumptions; terminal-risk validation does not establish full instrument equivalence.
